My name is Flávia Pires, and I work in Caçador, a city located in the Midwest region of Santa Catarina, Brazil. I specialize in newborn photography, which is my passion.
I would like to express my gratitude to the Outstanding Maternity Award.
I have been following the contest for some time, but I had never had the courage to submit any photos for evaluation. I used to dream of the day when I would see an image taken by me in that gallery filled with beautiful and incredibly touching images from so many other magnificent professionals from around the world.
In September 2020, I was fortunate to have my first photo awarded in the 15th season. To receive this recognition in such a competitive contest truly fills me with gratitude and a sense of accomplishment—it’s the realization of a dream! It assures me that I am on the right path, fighting and studying every day to perfect and improve my work.
This encouraged me to participate in subsequent editions, and to my surprise, I had two more photos awarded consecutively in the 16th and 17th seasons.
I received many messages from clients and new customers congratulating me and requesting quotes. Today, my work has become more recognized in the region, and I frequently receive messages from other photographers wishing to take courses with me.
Is it just a badge? No! It’s an enriching recognition that motivates and encourages me to always strive for my best because my photography reflects all my love and dedication.
