Outstanding Maternity Award: The Most Sought-After International Honor in Maternity Photography.

The Outstanding Maternity Award has celebrated over ten years of existence, and it is with immense satisfaction that we observe the professional growth of every photographer who participates in our seasons.

We are deeply grateful to all the photographers who share their achievements with us and who, year after year, strengthen this international community dedicated to the art of maternity photography.

Each Season is unique and represents a valuable opportunity for development and learning. By participating, photographers understand that earning the Outstanding Maternity Award seal is a significant milestone: having their work recognized internationally. This accomplishment increases their professional visibility and adds an important distinction to their portfolio and resume, which are decisive attributes that will attract new clients and opportunities.

For those who participate and are not awarded in a season, the journey continues. Every new submission comes with a more critical and refined eye from the photographer, a result of dedication and artistic intention.

JaNa Photography – Canada

JaNa is the artistic duo of Jafar and Nasim, life partners and the heart behind JaNa Photography in Vancouver, Canada.
Originally from Persia, Iran, they began their journey in 2009, creating timeless newborn and maternity portraits. Their passion for photography has taken them far, with more than 100 international exhibitions across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
For two years, Jafar and Nasim traveled the world by bicycle, organizing photo exhibitions and planting 100 trees along the way as symbols of peace, friendship, and care for the environment. Today, those trees stand tall, more than a decade old.
When they returned, they made Vancouver their new home and relaunched JaNa Photography. Before long, their talent placed them among the top three maternity and newborn photographers in the region. Jafar is known for his delicate newborn portraits, while Nasim shines in maternity photography.
They are excited and honored to join the judging panel for Season 38, continuing to share their love of photography and celebrate the creativity of others.

Neidy Parra – USA

Neidy Parra is the founder of Neidy Parra Photography and the Neidy Parra Collection, specializing in luxury maternity and lifestyle photography. Her work transforms once-in-a-lifetime moments into timeless works of art, blending fine art, fashion, and storytelling.
With over 146,000 followers and nearly 1 million monthly views on Instagram, she has built an international platform that celebrates women, motherhood, and family experiences, attracting clients from across the United States and abroad.
Beyond photography, Neidy is an entrepreneur and motivator, passionate about empowering women to embrace confidence, self-expression, and legacy.
As a judge, she brings both her artistic eye and business expertise, with a focus on storytelling, cultural relevance, and the lasting impact of visual art.
