The Outstanding Maternity Award enters its 33rd season, celebrating a decade of existence! In this Special Season, the winning images deeply and inspiringly highlight the experiences of pregnancy, childbirth, and the first days of family life.
The winners of this edition represent 20 countries, including Australia, Austria, Brazil, England, France, French Polynesia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United States.
Throughout its journey, the Outstanding Maternity Award has become a platform of excellence for artists to share their vision and skills. Additionally, it fosters a strong connection among photographers from different cultures, creating a space for learning and exchanging valuable experiences.
In this season, the award-winning photographs were carefully selected by judges Piero Serrecchia from Italy and Aurélie Perillou from France, who brought a sharp eye to identify the most impactful and emotional narratives.
The Outstanding Maternity Award was founded 10 years ago to celebrate excellence in maternity and family photography. Covering various representations of family life, the award highlights tender moments of pregnancy, the joy of newborns, the energy of family interactions, and the transformative journey of childbirth and early childhood.
Each season, the award attracts exceptional talents, each bringing unique narratives. Inspiring photographers worldwide, the award celebrates the beauty of life and family memories, enriching these visual stories with emotion and authenticity.
